Explore some of the most interesting places in Barcelona swiftly riding the ecofriendly Segway uptown to the amazing La Sagrada Família, one of the most exquisite works of Antoni Gaudí.
Starting from our office in the ancient Gothic Quarter of the roman walls and the medieval palaces we get in touch with the oldest parts of the town, the city center just until the big expansion in the 19th century golden ages. Enjoy the views from the old harbor of Port Vell as we pass by the modern marina: the amazing architecture and the interesting monuments along the port promenade. We make our course to explore the inspiring Park of the Citadel, one of the main leisure areas of the city, packed with entertainment, music and performances, and interesting buildings and works of art, some of them executed with the collaboration of Antoni Gaudí. Get in touch with the feeling of the golden age lived by the artist and discover many of his works while exploring the city. Cross under the Arch of Triumph to drive your segways through the bicycle lanes taking you uptown to La Sagrada Família, the cherry on top of this tour, and the most impressive work of art made in Barcelona.
Start off with a short training on how to ride so that you feel ready for this wonderful experience, and as we leave the Gothic Quarter behind we roll through the beautiful avenues of the city in direction of the Park of the Citadel. Passing the Born District of the old town we can find beautiful architecture on the 19th century buildings that were responsible for handling all the main commercial business in the Old Port. Leaving it behind we get deep into the golden age of the end of the 19th century and swiftly ride to the the main leisure spot for barcelonians. The Park of the Citadel houses many structures like the Parliament and the Zoo, and also the Arch of Triumph that leads our way to the uptown of Barcelona, in direction of the most famous work of A. Gaudí: La Sagrada Familía. Passing throughout wide promenades and avenues you can expect the most interesting architecture decorating our streets, as an appetizer for Gaudí’s majestic temple. This monumental structure is an absolute feast for the eyes, so take all the time you need to admire it.
